Disney delays “Mulan” again.
As coronavirus cases continue to rise in the U.S., slowing plans to reopen movie theaters, Disney announced that it has again delayed the theatrical release of the live-action version of “Mulan”.
Initially scheduled for March, before being delayed until July 24th, it is currently scheduled for a cinema release on August 21st.

Major markets such as New York, California and China delayed the reopening of theatres, resulting in more films leaving their summer release locations.Disney remains committed to releasing “Mulan” in theatres, rather than directly on Premium Video On Demand, as Universal has done.Disney has already moved “Artemis Fowl” and “The One & Only Ivan” from theatres to Disney +, while pushing back several films including “The Jungle Cruise”, “Black Widow” and “Soul”.
