THE FILMMAKER: Eric Swiecinski

In 2007, Eric was awarded a student Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for his piece, The Race.  Eric has since been studying at the New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.  Whether it be writing, editing, directing, or performing, Eric is at home in his vocation.  He is currently a Director of Moving Images at North Tower Media.

    Chris good peoples man..everything you see is 100% authentic..thats what i admire most about dude as an artist..b’n frm Philly you have to carry yourself and live by a certain creed in order to garner the respect for your talent..you cant just be talented..you gotta be a stand up ni**a first and be true to what u believe..the money and success will come and evn if it dont..u never sacrifice yur character for money..much respect bul..dat shit dont go unnoticed..

Destined for success after hooking up with Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records at 15 as a member of the duo, Young Gunz, Christopher “Young Chris” Ries saw his chance almost disappear with the dissolution of the label. Unwilling to pass on his own potential and return to the hard Philly streets, Chris is now working on his own to assume his rightful place alongside the rap greats he came into the game with.
